Marty’s photo of the day #4497: Today I chose a photo folder at random and opened it up, hoping to find something I hadn’t posted before. This photo said, “Post me! Post me!” I shot this flower on a hike in Texas between college shows in 2009. I never posted it, because I didn’t know what it was. But technology has come a long ways since 2009. Now I simply uploaded the picture to an AI program and ta-da! It’s a Malvaviscus arboreus, also known as a Turk’s cap.
