Marty’s photo of the day #5138: Antlion larvae hide at the bottom of hundreds of sandy ant traps on the Essen Wildlife Refuge. Later, when those larvae become adults, they resemble a damselfly, and their diet changes from ants to pollen and nectar. Yesterday, I watched this adult land on a branch no wider than a straw and then disappear. What amazing camouflage!
