Marty’s photo of the day #5034: Provided that Donald Trump doesn’t fuck things up so much that international travel becomes impossible, Deb and I are heading to Tanzania for the Great Migration early next year. Many years ago, we backpacked across Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe, but this time we’ll see different species. What does that have to do with this handheld moon shot? I just bought a Canon RF 800mm lens with the ultimate goal of getting a top-notch cheetah photo. The lens is small and lightweight for its power, and now I’m experimenting with it so I can get the most out of it in Tanzania. The moon was a good test. You can even see the mountains and valleys near the bottom.
