
Last Week at the Essen Wildlife Refuge: Every Sunday, I try to post the best of the previous week’s photos from my motion-sensing cameras. This week, I refuse to do that because the motion-sensing camera at the lower-level pond is being guarded by ten million eagle-sized mosquitoes. There’s only so much I’m willing to do for a blog post!
Instead, I’m posting a handheld photo I took on the Essen Wildlife Refuge a few minutes ago with my Canon EOS R50. It’s a pileated woodpecker.
