Marty’s photo of the day #4782: Yesterday, I posted about my wife, Deb, and I hanging out at a U.S. Forest Service cabin this past Monday thru Wednesday (on the East Fork of the Bitterroot River in Montana). We spent part of our first day driving remote mountain roads, looking for photoshoot locations, where I could photograph Deb’s weaving projects “in the wild” for her third weaving book (to be published by Schiffer Publishing). Then, on the following day, we took Deb’s projects out to the best spots for a photography session. This burned down tree reminded both of us of a dragon. And it would have been so cool to photograph one or more of Deb’s completed projects against it, but alas we had to abandon the idea. We couldn’t have any of her beautiful weavings turning black!
