Marty’s photo of the day #3488: Evil vs. Silly. Here are the last two photos I’m going to post of the great gray owl that hung out at Deb’s and my house on Saturday. I made these photos near the end of that visit. The owl had moved to the arbor at the back corner of our house, and Deb and I were able to stand outside on our side porch and watch it from close range. Since the sky was getting dark by that time, I had to use my flash. That’s why the eyes are red in the “evil owl” photo and red and black in the “silly owl” photo, where the flash didn’t catch the eyes in the same way.
