Marty’s photo of the day #4801: Whenever I’m around brown pelicans, I try to get the ultimate dive shot, showing contact with the water. It’s not easy, as the perfect shot requires good lighting, finding a fast-moving bird in the viewfinder, and keeping the damn bird in the viewfinder. I haven’t achieved perfection yet, but here’s the closest I got earlier this year off the coast of Belize.
