Marty’s photo of the day #4550: Any time photographing whales is a great time, and I had so much fun last month photographing gray whales off of Vancouver Island. The difference between photographing humpback whales (as I did off of Antarctica) and gray whales is that gray whales generally don’t come as far out of the water. Today’s gray whale photo shows as high as they got while I was watching them.
