Marty’s photos of the day #2990: A few weeks back I featured a photo of our resident wild peacock. Yesterday Deb and I were hiking on our land and we checked out Mr. Peacock’s favorite shed tree. Jackpot! We’ve been collecting the peacock’s feathers for years—they make stunning bouquets—but the key is to find them fresh, before the elements get to them. My guess is that this year’s batch is only a day or two old.
