Marty’s photo of the day #2472: As a liberal, I try to avoid grouping people in stereotypes. But sometimes you can’t argue with their accuracy. For instance, I have neighbors who have been known to shoot off their guns in such rapid succession that I can smell the gunpowder more than a quarter mile away. They also ride their ATVs all over the place. Is there any doubt they’re Republicans? Or this guy in the photo. I don’t know his name, but is there any doubt he’s Australian? I met him when we took a train into the Outback and stopped for a tinnie. Admittedly, I find stereotypical Australians much more interesting than stereotypical Republicans.
When stereotypes are accurate
