Whenever I publish a new book, I become obsessed with watching the Amazon charts (it’s a sickness, I know). Since Time Is Irreverent was published four days ago, it has shot up the rankings and become an Amazon “Hot New Release” in multiple categories. Still, the success of the book depends on how you look at it.
Amazon sales rankings change every few hours, but generally the Kindle version of my book has been hovering around 11,000. That doesn’t sound very good, does it? Eleven thousand book titles are selling better than mine. But let’s look at it another way: Amazon sells roughly 3.6 million book titles. That means that Time Is Irreverent is currently outselling well over 3.5 million other books!
Okay, that’s all the time I have to write about numbers. I need to get back to the charts and obsess some more—I have goals to reach in the coming days
