Marty’s photo of the day #3830: Every morning at 8:30 Nellie comes into my writing room and stares at me until I take her outside to play Frisbee. Although she does catch the disc, doing so isn’t a high priority for her. She would rather retrieve the Frisbee and then pull it away a split-second before I can take it from her. Or, better yet, “kill” the Frisbee by vigorously shaking her head. Winter Frisbee is her favorite, because she can cover it with snow and make snow fly everywhere when she shakes it. Dogs don’t laugh out loud, like humans do, but when she makes the snow fly, she’s giggling like a child racing down a hill on a toboggan.

Gotta run! I’m being stared at.
