Nature photography, political rants, and Martyman laughs from the ten-time award-winning author Marty Essen

Marty’s photo of the day #3848: Sneaking up on a leopard in Zimbabwe.

When I shot this photo, the sun had already set, so I didn’t have much light to work with. Back home, I lightened it as much as I could in my computer without changing the colors. Although leopards are not an endangered species, they are difficult to spot in the wild. Seeing one brings much celebration.
