If you’ve been following what is happening in Wisconsin, you know that the Wisconsin GOP, backed by the Republican-controlled U.S. Supreme Court, prevented the delay of today’s state election. The reason the Republicans want the election today is because a conservative judge on the ballot needs a low voter turnout to get elected. So Republicans are risking the lives of thousands of Wisconsin voters because they value party over country.
Here’s the silver lining: Devaluing lives now his going to come back and bite Republicans in Wisconsin in November. Even more important is that the U.S. Supreme Court has now set a precedent. Come October it’s going to become painfully obvious to both Donald Trump and the GOP that they are going to get their asses handed to them on Election Day. Without the Supreme Court ruling, Trump and his crooked administration might have found some loophole to delay the election indefinitely due to COVID-19. Now they’re fucked. Election Day will be November 3rd no matter what!
