Marty’s photo of the day #3081: A few years ago I was on a college speaking tour that took me to California and Arizona. During a day off between gigs, I headed into the Mojave Desert in search of a desert tortoise. Very rarely does nature cooperate and produce the very animal I’m looking for, but I got lucky and found this beautiful specimen. I love the side-eye she’s giving me in this photo.
