Marty’s photos of the day #4556: So for most of last week and part of this week our furnace was out, necessitating a part to be flown in from Sweden. The furnace is now working again, but at 6:00 a.m. this morning heavy snow caused a tree to fall on a nearby powerline, leaving Deb and me without power for five hours. This is all good! Winter hasn’t quite hit yet, and we’ve already put the furnace and power problems behind us for the winter! Right, Murphy?

So I’m a little behind today on my photo of the day. And when that happens, I dig into my penguin photos. This is a gentoo penguin, photographed on Antarctica.
