Marty’s photo of the day #4449: Warthogs can be difficult to photograph in the wild. Deb and I would be hiking along and all of a sudden we’d hear something crashing through the bush. By the time we figured out that it was a warthog running away from us and not a lion or a rhino running toward us, it was often too late to shoot a photo. Consequently, this is my best warthog shot. If you look closely, you’ll see both a mother and a juvenile.
