Marty’s photo of the day #4191: Some mornings, I have a plan on what to post for my photo of the day. Other mornings, I just open folders of my photos that I’ve saved to my computer and look for one that speaks to me. Many times those instantly selected photos surprise me: “Oh, I forgot I took that one!” This red-tailed hawk photo is one of those surprises. The hawk was a rescue animal at one of the East Coast wildlife facilities I spoke at ten or so years ago. I don’t remember which one.
