Marty’s photo of the day #3807: After spending most of this week on a college speaking tour and yesterday catching up on office work, I settled into my red writing room this morning, eager to get back to work on my latest novel. This is the view that greeted me as I sat down. Some mornings the rising sun seems to pick out a tree, like the one in the foreground, and make it glow. Today the storm clouds rolling over the mountain tops added to the scene. Okay, it’s time to see if my characters will give me two thousand words of hilarity to type. (I have no idea what they’re going to do today—really.)
