Marty’s photo of the day #3489: This is one of the two octopuses Deb and I played with while visiting the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. The story of our octopus adventure will appear in my sixth book, Hits, Heathens, and Hippos: Stories from an Agent, Activist, and Adventurer. That book is ready to go, but I’m still exploring publishing options. So far, two publishing companies have given me offers. I’ve already turned down the first one and am still in discussions with the second one. Other publishers are on notice to give me an answer by the end of the month. Depending on what happens, the book could be out as early as March or as late as this summer.
