Marty’s photo of the day #3459: I took this photo from the co-pilot’s seat. Here’s what it looks like when you are heading north, toward the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. This is one of the most dangerous flights in the world, because the tiny airplane has to fight a headwind coming off the Arctic Ocean, as it crosses over the Brooks Range to land on the tundra on the opposite side.
