Marty’s photo of the day #2968: Today I’m starting a three-part series called “Inside Deb’s Lavender Patch.” My favorite butterflies, the pine whites, are at their peak this week, with thousands flying around our house. In the summer, I move my office to the front porch, where I always have music playing. Although I know it’s just my imagination, sometimes it seems as if the butterflies are attracted to the music, and the entire kaleidoscope of them is flying in time to it. And when the pine whites aren’t doing their musical dance, they’re really digging Deb’s Lavender Patch.
