Marty’s photo of the day #2882: I don’t often miss posting a photo of the day, but Deb, Fiona, and I are in Yellowstone National Park, and yesterday morning we were up early to drive into the Lamar Valley. Now is the time when the locals do Yellowstone, because you can see the park before the hordes of people arrive. In fact, we went on two hikes where we didn’t see anyone else. This is my third time in Yellowstone, and I think yesterday was my most successful photo day ever in the United States. I will be going through the photos when I get home, but here is a preview. On our second hike of the day, we met two black bears, heading our way. This was the boy bear.
