Marty’s photo of the day #2839: In this photo, I’m on the bridge of the Russian ship, the Professor Multanovskiy, sailing between Antarctica and South America. A storm has come up, and we are on a massive roller coaster ride—diving into wave troughs, climbing back atop the crest, and then doing it all over again. In a split-second, the wave you see crashing the bow will hit high on the glass in front of my face. What fun!
