Marty’s photo of the day #2837: Other than when Marty Mann and Nellie Dixon land on places like Pluto or the moon, I’ve been to the vast majority of the locations the two visited in the “Time Is Irreverent” series. After all, it’s easier to write vividly about places I’ve experience myself. In Time Is Irreverent 2: Jesus Christ, Not Again! Marty, Nellie, and Jesus spend the summer of AD 31 in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, where they run naked with the caribou and enjoy a variety of wildlife encounters. I took this photo near the only hill in the area. There Marty and Nellie landed the time-traveling Chromosphere Cruiser and walked the short distance to the Arctic Ocean. So if you’ve already read Time Is Irreverent 2 or plan to do so in the future, just add a few thousand caribou and a wolf pack to this photo, and you have the scene our heroes experienced day after day.
