Marty’s photo of the day #4315: Every time I get embarrassed about living in the backward state of Montana, some other primitive state, such as Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Mississippi, or Florida reminds me, “Hey, it could be worse.” I’m sure many of you saw the story about the Florida principal who got fired for allowing students to see an image of Michelangelo’s “pornographic” David statue in class. What the fuck is wrong with these people?
So with all those primitive states in mind, and their primitive residents who shout “Freedom!” while trying to take away the rights of others, I present a statue I photographed in Florence, Italy a few years back. This statue was right out in the open, where even right-wing fifteen-year-olds, who didn’t know men had penises, could see one. Oh, the horrors! (Sarcasm)
