Final show of the school year tomorrow

Marty’s photo of the day #3964: After getting home yesterday from 10 days on the road and then performing a Zoom show for Palm Beach State College in Florida, today I repack my suitcase with clean clothes and a fresh supply of books for my final in-person presentation for this school year of “Around the World in 90 Minutes.” My show, at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was booked just a few weeks ago, so that’s why I have such a disjointed schedule. That’s okay! After performing only a few in-person shows during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s just nice to step onto an actual stage again! (Although I won’t feel that way when I have to get up at 3:00 a.m. tomorrow to catch the early morning flight.)

This will be my second time performing at Augustana University. The last time was back in 2009. Regarding today’s photo: Here’s one more of me with the red-tailed hawk, following my show last Saturday at Tanglewood Nature Center in Elmira, New York.
