Yay! I just sent Time Is Irreverent 3: Gone for Sixteen Seconds off to my editor. After I wrote my first book, Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents (published in 2007), it took me nine years to publish Endangered Edens: Exploring the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Costa Rica, the Everglades, and Puerto Rico. Now that I’ve switched to writing fiction, the books are coming out much faster. I wrote all the novels in the Time Is Irreverent trilogy in three years.

Time Is Irreverent 3 is the funniest book in the series. This time, Marty Mann and Nellie Dixon go back in time to learn just what happened on Noah’s Ark and then take Ronald Reagan on a wild ride into the future that could change the past. It’s going to be fun—and controversial! Look for a publication date of March or April. Then I’m going to take a break from writing more Time Is Irreverent novels until after the 2020 election. There’s lots of work to be done between now and November to defeat Trump and his minions, and I plan to do my part to help out.
