Marty’s photo of the day #3049: You’re probably wondering: what the hell is this picture about? When my wife and I were in Belize, we went horseback riding with one of the locals, and he took us to a cave, where we could see vampire bats up-close. This was one of the other sights inside the cave. Christian missionaries have a long history of deceit and cruelty in both Central and South America. I don’t have the space here to cover what they did, but information on their reprehensible behavior is easy to find. What you are looking at in this photo is old broken pottery, which is part of a religious ritual for some native Belizeans. Those people used this cave to hide from the Christian missionaries and practice their own beliefs.
