Marty’s photo of the day #2885: While in Yellowstone National Park this past weekend, I had two experiences where I stood stationary while an animal approached closer and closer, to the point that I’d never before been so close to that species in the wild. Later this week, I’ll share the bear close encounter. Today, I have this beautiful pronghorn who, apparently, thought that I too was interesting enough to check-out. As my wife, Deb, commented, “When pronghorns look straight-on, their horns look like curly eyebrows.” Pronghorns, incidentally, are the fastest land animal in the Western Hemisphere, and the second fastest overall—behind the cheetah.
