A jaguar . . . really close

Marty’s photo of the day #2278: I bet you’ve never seen a jaguar this close before. And those who know me, know that I don’t photograph dead animals—unless it’s for political/journalist purposes. This jaguar is most definitely alive. . . .

Okay, he was at the Belize zoo, which is one of the most unique, humane zoos in the world. All of the animals there are rescue animals, and the zoo has done a terrific job of using those animals to get the locals interested in conservation.
