I read in the newspaper this morning that Republicans don’t think Donald Trump’s proposed massive increase in military spending is enough, and they want to increase it further.
So Republicans want to take health care away from millions of Americans to pay for a tax cut for the rich, yet they think we have plenty of money to supersize our supersized military. God knows that spending more on our military than the next seven countries combined just isn’t enough for these greedy cowards!
How about this rational idea instead?: Let’s tie an increase in our military spending directly to a tax increase on the richest 5 percent, and make universal health care at least as much of a right as owning a gun.
