Marty’s photo of the day #2052: Earlier this month, when Deb and I were snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez, we saw more than just octopuses and sea lions. The area we were in had tons of sting rays. We knew sting rays liked to hide on the sea floor, but seeing them actually do it in real life was a memorable experience. The two of us were following this sting ray, when all of a sudden it stopped, shimmied its pectoral fins, and disappeared beneath the sand!
