Checked out by a leopard seal

Marty’s photo of the day #2029: This is not an earless dog in a swimming pool; this is a leopard seal surfacing near our Zodiac (rubber raft) off the coast of Antarctica. Leopard seals have a reputation for being aggressive, but they weren’t that way with us. They would surface, take a look at us, and go back down. And the ocean water around Antarctica was such an amazing color!
