Nature photography, political rants, and Martyman laughs from the ten-time award-winning author of "Cool Creatures, Hot Planet," "Endangered Edens," and the "Time Is Irreverent" series.

Marty’s photo of the day #1883: Here’s a look at downtown Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina—the southernmost city in the world. Tomorrow, for comparison, I’m going to show you a photo I took of downtown Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada. Although there are some cities farther north than Inuvik, it is the northernmost city you can drive to in Canada. You won’t believe the difference!

FYI: You can read in detail about Deb’s and my Ushuaia and Inuvik adventures in my first book, “Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents.”
