Marty’s photo of the day #1800: I don’t know what it is about May, but for me it always seems to be Computer Crash Month. Last May, I was just finishing my second book, Endangered Edens, when my laptop crashed. I back up regularly, so nothing was lost, but I finally invested in a laptop with a solid-state hard drive to—hopefully—avoid laptop crashes in the future. (I also had a laptop crash while writing my first book, but that’s another story).
This May, I had to replace the desktop computer in Deb’s office; reformat and ultimately replace the traditional hard drive on the desktop computer in my office; then fix up an older laptop that I’m giving to a friend who needs a Windows computer. And since none of my computers have typical setups, getting them to do what I want them to do is an involved process.
What does all that have to do with this fawn photo? Hell if I know! I’ve been too busy working on computers to think of what I am posting next. I photographed the fawn last spring, and when I searched my laptop’s hard drive for something to post today, there she was.
