The proper crop

Amazon Lizard

Marty’s photo of the day #1714: I hadn’t started this week out with a theme in mind, but I rediscovered a bunch of cool macro shots from my second trip to the Amazon Rainforest. Here’s a photography secret: sometimes the correct crop makes all the difference. This lizard from the Amazon Rainforest has been sitting patiently on my hard drive for years, waiting for me to notice him and give him a proper crop. This new version is so much better than the full-size photo, which wasn’t eye-catching at all.
